Grammy-award-winning The Mavericks headlined our largest fundraising event of the year to support Austin’s beloved historic theatres. Rockabilly Noches, an evening inspired by the eclectic sounds of The Mavericks and their incredible 30-year career, celebrated all the glam and mid-century influences of the band, including Elvis and Roy Orbison, as well as the Hispanic and Latinx heritage The Mavericks draw inspiration from today.
Thank you for celebrating the Paramount’s 108th Anniversary Gala and raising impactful funds to support our award-winning Education programs, genre-spanning programming, and the ongoing preservation of Austin’s iconic venues!
We are grateful for you coming out in the best Rockabilly threads and rock ‘n’ rolling with the event changes due to the weather. We still rocked the block with unforgettable performances at the Paramount by The Modern Don Juans and The Mavericks, and the party vibes you carried over to the SFA to dance the night away with DJ Boi Orbison. Your generosity made this year’s fundraiser one of the greatest in our history; we’re overwhelmed by your love and dedication that keep the Paramount & Stateside Theatres meaningful parts of the Austin community.
With gratitude,
– Jim Ritts, Maica Jordan, Krystal Parsons, Sydney Barrosse, Katy Daly, and the ATA Board of Directors and Staff

Your support during this sell-out fundraiser directly helps protect two of Austin’s oldest venues – the Paramount and Stateside Theatres. When you purchase a tax-deductible package or tickets, you help:
- advance world-class, diverse programming across all genres – music, comedy, spoken word, drag, and so much more
- serve more than 35,000 Central Texas students through arts programs offered in-person and virtual
- support historic preservation projects to protect Austin’s most historic stages
- pay artists and performers helping bring more than 600 shows and events to downtown Austin
This event historically sells out, and helps raise funds through ticket sales, custom curated silent and live auctions where exclusive experiences and packages are created with you in mind, and other interactive donation opportunities. This event always highlights and celebrates live performance at the heart of what we do. Past headliners have included: Gary Clark Jr, Earth Wind & Fire, Trombone Shorty, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Gipsy Kings, Chris Isaak, Patty Griffin, Elvis Costello and Lyle Lovett. (And that’s just to name a few of our most recent headliners for this special tradition lasting more than 20 years!)
Thank you to our community of gala chairs, committee members, auction donors, ticket donors, century club members, and volunteers who make this event possible.
