ACCESS TO THE ARTS Organization Sign Up
Thank you for your interest in the Paramount Theatre’s “Access to the Arts” program!
Access to the Arts, formerly known as “Skinny’s Gallery,” has been in existence since the early 1980’s and is offered in honor of Skinny Pryor, a gentleman who owned the Grand Central Theater on Austin’s Congress Avenue. He was known for letting children who could not afford the price of admission into his theatre for free. In the spirit of Skinny’s generosity, the Paramount Theatre enables underserved youth of the Greater Austin area to enjoy the wonder and thrill of the Paramount’s Play-time Series, Discovery Series, and other special events free of charge. When you are a part of this program, the Paramount Theatre will:
- Provide free tickets to your organization
- Provide free study guides for each child when attending a Discovery Series show
- Provide free, pre-show activities before each Discovery Series show
You will receive an e-mail about two weeks before each show with a link to sign up for tickets for that particular show. We will let you know if we are able to fulfill your request. Your organization will be able to pick up those tickets one hour before each show. Your tickets will be held under your organization’s name.
Thank you for joining us and for all you do for the youth of Austin!
