The Paramount and Stateside Theatres are managed and operated by the Austin Theatre Alliance. A 501(c)3 nonprofit, our organization strives to bring the widest variety of entertainment to as many people as possible in these treasured historic theatres. We work with national and local promoters, reputable companies, and many nonprofit organizations to present over 250 events at both theatres throughout the year.
The Paramount and Stateside Theatres feature traditional theatre seating, full bars, attractive lobbies for receptions, and new state-of-the-art sound and digital projection, all while retaining historic beauty and charm. Both theatres are available for hosting a variety of events, including:
- Touring Shows
- Film Screenings & Premieres
- Benefits & Fundraisers
- Corporate Meetings & Events
- Special Events
In keeping with our core mission, the theatres are not available for weddings, nor are the theatres’ marquees available for personal messages. Please note, if you plan to sell tickets to your event, your ticketing must run through our in-house ticketing platform.
The Paramount Theatre accommodates up to 1,273 people.
Stateside at the Paramount (State Theatre)
Stateside at the Paramount accommodates up to 305 people.
Rentals of The Paramount and Stateside Theatres are subject to an application process. All rental inquiries must submit a completed application to be considered for venue rental bookings. Determination of eligibility, event programming, and event priority is at the discretion of the Austin Theatre Alliance. Due to the volume of rental inquiries we receive, as well as the competitive nature of our booking calendar, we are not able to accommodate all rental inquiries.
