SEATING ACCOMMODATIONS
The Paramount and State Theatres' staff is trained to assist you in selecting seating that best meets your individual needs. Seats with removable armrests are available in the Paramount Theatre for increased accessibility. Patrons who cannot or do not wish to transfer from their wheelchairs to a theatre seat should request wheelchair seating locations when ordering their tickets. As the Paramount is a historic building there is no elevator to the upper levels, and accordingly, orchestra level accessible seating is available to people who are unable to climb stairs. Accessible seating is also available in the Paramount and State Theatres for patrons with low vision or who are hard of hearing.
It is important to request accessible seating when purchasing your tickets. As there are a limited number of available seats, waiting until the day of the performance does not guarantee an accessible seat will be available. These tickets can only be purchased by calling the Paramount Theatre Box Office at (512) 472-5470. |

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. ALDs are available free of charge in both theatres lobbies on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be picked up prior to show time by simply leaving a driver's license or other form of identification. The ALDs do not work between the theatres so be sure to pick up a receiver in the lobby of the event you are attending. We encourage early arrival when you are planning to use assistive listening devices so there is enough time to pick up and adjust the devices, if necessary. |
