Everyone who makes a contribution to the Lights, Camera...Take Action! campaign will receive a bit of Paramount History – an authentic piece of the Paramount Stage.

That's right! Every so often we need to replace part of the stage surface, and because of your generous support, I want to share a bit of our history with you. This keepsake is a fun way to own your own piece of Paramount history.

Lights:

One of the most beautiful features of the Theatre that you've probably noticed are our vintage chandeliers with truly unique frosted glass panels. You also may have noticed that many of these chandeliers are missing some of their pieces.

Where did they go? I've heard stories of a legendary high note from on stage or it could have been one of the rumored ghosts...

No matter how they went missing, you can facilitate the restoration of our chandeliers back to their original beauty by helping us replace the broken pieces.

Camera:

The Paramount Theatre is the only remaining Movie Palace in town that allows you to experience a film the same way people did when motion pictures first began delighting audiences. But, those first films were silent and the Theatre has had to undergo many improvements to its sound system over the years to keep up with changing technology.

Your support will help us bring the Paramount's naturally wonderful live show acoustics up to their best with an upgraded surround sound and delay speaker system and new digital sound board. You'll notice the improvements from anywhere you sit in the auditorium.

There's More:

The Paramount will soon be showing off a bright front facade after she is professionally power-washed. That might not sound like a big deal until you consider the special care that must be taken with a building as old as the Paramount. And, once this project is completed, you will really see the difference when the Paramount's natural beauty is on display for all of Congress Avenue to see.

And there's more - repairing carpet tears and broken seats, making electrical improvements, and additional enhancements to improve access for disabled persons
