Austin Summer Theater Camps and Classes

Fairy Tale Theatre (ages 5-8)Step into your favorite stories as we use creative drama to bring them to life! Students will recreate classic and contemporary stories while learning valuable theatre skills such as voice, movement, character building, and team work. Theatre Academy (Ages 9-16)In this fabulous two week camp, students will learn life skills through theatre skills by taking classes from professionally trained actors. Each of our programs culminates in a final sharing for family, friends and the Austin Community. Students will be divided into groups by age, and rotate through four different classes, getting professional training in: Students will rotate through three different classes getting professional training in:

Camp Paramount (ages 6-18)Perform a musical on the Paramount Stage. This two week long acting/theatre camp is open to everyone and no previous theatre experience is required. It is a great opportunity for youth to gain hands-on theatre experience and teamwork as they take the Paramount Stage for the culmination of their hard work. Some junior or senior high students will be offered the opportunity to serve as Assistant Directors, Lighting and Sound Technicians.
