Make lifelong memories performing on the Paramount stage!

Does your child dream of performing on stage? Do they sing into their hairbrush and dance down grocery-store isles? Then Camp Paramount is where they belong! In this fabulous, 2-week musical theatre camp, students will perform Broadway style musical numbers on the historic Paramount Stage! Youth involved in this production will not only be preparing for a final performance, but also learning life skills through theatre training. They will study singing, dancing, acting and costume design from professionally trained artists.

Camp Story Wranglers
Grades 3 - 8, FULL DAY Program

Calling all story makers!
For the kids who love to write AND perform!

Inspired by our highly successful in-school Literacy to Life program, students will explore a multitude of story-writing strategies that will have them collaborating with the Story Wranglers, the Paramount’s Professional Acting Ensemble! This camp will not only challenge students to be creative writers, it will have students exploring all genres of storytelling such as songwriting, puppet making, film, movement, and of course – theatre! The first week will focus on creating the stories and the second week will have students up on their feet performing their work with the Story Wranglers! The camp ends with a performance for family and friends in the newly renovated Stateside Theatre.

Theatre Academy
Ages 4 - 5, HALF DAY | Grades 1 - 3, HALF DAY
Grades 4 - 12, FULL DAY

The Paramount Theatre Academy is designed for students from Pre-K through 12th grade who are looking to receive theatre training in a unique, fun, academy style setting. While each “Stage” of the program offers a variety of challenges and experiences depending on age level, all camp attendees will work with professional performing-arts teachers and will gain essential life skills. We offer a two week and a one week option for this program.

Early Stage Program (4 & 5 year olds) – HALF DAY
For young actors making their stage debut! The focus of this camp is on the process of acting as a way of developing key life skills such as collaboration, communication, problem solving, imagination and team work.

Young Stage Program (Grades 1 -3) – HALF DAY
In this fun yet disciplined theatre arts camp, students will receive the building blocks of theater training: Creative Drama, Stage Movement, Voice, Speech and Scene Study. A great option for all levels of stage experience!

Main Stage Program (Grades 4-12) – FULL DAY
For the more advanced actors, this two-week camp will teach students the fundamentals of theatre by taking classes from professionally trained actors. Students will receive pre-professional training in: Acting for the Stage and Screen, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Movement, and Musical Theatre.
