Actor Zac Efron and Director Richard Linklater Live at Paramount Theatre

Director Richard Linklater and actors Zac Efron and Christian McKay will be in attendance for a post-show Q&A for the regional premier of the film Me and Orson Welles on Monday, November 30, 2009.

Based in real theatrical history, Me and Orson Welles is a romantic coming-of-age story about a teenage actor (Zac Ephron) who lucks into a role in Julius Caesar as it's being re-imagined by a brilliant, impetuous young director named Orson Welles at his newly-founded Mercury Theatre in 1937 New York City. The rollercoaster week leading up to opening night is riddled with rehearsal mishaps, a love triangle with Welles' career-minded production assistant (Claire Danes), and the charismatic but sometimes cruel Welles (impressively portrayed by newcomer Christian McKay) staking his career on this risky production.
