FUEL is a comprehensive and entertaining look at energy in America. Rousing and reactionary, FUEL is also the in-depth, personal journey of energy pioneer Josh Tickell as he struggles to integrate the lessons learned while growing up in the oil state of Louisiana and examines wide-ranging energy solutions, the faltering US auto and petroleum industries, and the American mindset toward alternative energy. Tickell uses his quest to popularize biodiesel — a diesel alternative made from plant oils — as a way to convey the far reaching message of the challenges and potential difference that one individual can make.
Following the film, a panel with a Q&A session will be moderated by The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation.
This show is part of A Beautiful World, a series sponsored by The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation.
