I’m all about the Club Shows and Podcasts this year. But this line-up is so stacked, so good that I would need a clone of myself to see it all. This is the dream line-up I would see, armed with a Club/Podcast badge and all the time in the world. A girl can dream can’t she?
7:00 p.m. My Favorite Murder – Yeah! What says ‘comedy’ like two women talking about grisly murders? I dunno…but Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark have cracked this mystery code. The Paramount is the place to be on Wednesday and with my Club/Podcast badge I have a seat (provided I arrive per directions).
8:00 p.m. Moontower at the J – Play it like a pro and skip the downtown crowd. After all, this is a marathon not a sprint. Head to the JCC to see the hilarious Sklar Brothers’ headline featuring Wendy Liebman and hosted by Matt Sadler.

I’ll be seeing The Sklar Brothers, Wendy Liebman and Matt Sadler at the JCC; it’s a one-of-a kind show! After that, I’ll fly downtown and catch whatever I can of My Favorite Murder
I will start off with one of my favorite podcasts: About Last Night at the Speakeasy. Brad Williams is unbelievably talented and smart, and Adam Ray kills me. Then I will head off to Austin Towers at The Velveeta Room, hosted by Matt Ingebretson; this is an Austin power-packed edition. Then it’s Bye, Felicia! for me (also at Velveeta). Next comes Stashbox 420 at The Parish with an insane lineup. And I will cap off the night with Goddamn Comedy Jam at Antone’s. What a night. Comedy Heaven!
First up will be Unmasked with Ron Bennington at The Velveeta Room; Ron is one of the top interviewers in comedy. Then I’ll be off to see mad genius Daniel Koren’s The Most Important Thing at Google Fiber. I’ll stick around there and see one of my fave comedians Hari Kondabolu at 8:30 p.m. Then it’s off to catch Kurt Metzger and Barry Crimmins’ You’re Making it Worse at Antone’s. Last year I missed 7 Minutes in Purgatory due to it being jam-packed. This year it will be at Google Fiber and I’ll be there for this one-of-a-kind performance. Last, I’ll be off to Midnight Mayhem with the fantastic Ralphie May!
I will not miss Kill Tony and neither should you! Tony Hinchcliffe’s creative show/podcast is hilarious. Next, Stars in Bars is a must-see! I will never miss Dana Gould and Arden Myrin’s show Tinkle Twins. Finally, I will end my Moontower tour with New York’s Finest!
