The two most anticipated weeks of the Paramount Summer Classic Film Series are here!
First up is Hitchcock Week, a six-day tribute to one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. From early British successes like The 39 Steps and The Lady Vanishes to bona-fide masterpieces of suspense like Psycho and Strangers On A Train, we have something for everyone. That includes you, Cary Grant fans (Notorious and Suspicion) and Jimmy Stewart fans (Rear Window and The Man Who Knew Too Much), so don’t miss this opportunity to see your favorites (or discover new ones) on our big screen!
Speaking of our big screen, the following week brings back the annual tradition of 70mm week, which will feature three of the most dazzling films ever made projected on larger-than-life 70mm film! We’ve got 2001: A Space Odyssey for sci-fi fans, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade for adventure fans, and Lawrence of Arabia for anyone wanting to see the greatest epic ever filmed the way it was meant to be seen.
We also have another family classic for movie lovers of all ages in the latest selection for our Family Film Festival, where adults enjoy $10 tickets and kids 12 and under enjoy $6 tickets. On Saturday, August 20th, we will present Disney’s crowning achievement Mary Poppins, and you won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to see Julie Andrews’ remarkable film debut at the historic Paramount Theatre!
